Small and medium-sized companies are regarded as very flexible and innovative. To be able to keep these advantages also in global competition, it is adviseable for them to cooperate in networks with renowned research institutes, other companies and associations in both production and sales.

In the fields of product development, GAS works in close cooperation with research centres of the (technical) universities of Aachen, Dresden, Stuttgart and Karlsruhe.

GAS also is an active member in various associations of the VDMA, e. g. in the association "Assembly and Handling Technology".

Schunk GmbH & Ko.KG

A company partnership with the well-known manufacturer of grippers and clamping chucks >Schunk GmbH & Co.KG situated in Lauffen has been established. Schunk GmbH are the world-wide sales representatives for GAS actuators. Furthermore, there is a close cooperation in the fields of development and production.

Tyco Electronics in Harrisburg (USA), producer of process and assembly automation equipment for electronic component groups, is the world-wide sales representation for the whole range of GAS depanelling systems. Furthermore, TYCO is responsible for the world-wide after sales service for the depanelling systems

Stein Experten Pool GmbH (ST.E.P)
 

GAS is a member and shareholder of the Stein Experten Pool GmbH (ST.E.P) situated in Villingen-Schwenningen. The 16 members of the ST.E.P group manufacture individual assembly systems on highest technical level, as each company is specialized in a certain technical process. The ST.E.P group is well-known as a supplier for complete assembly systems based on transfer systems.

Schnaidt Ltd.

Coopperation between GAS-Automation GmbH and Schnaidt GmbH is contractually sealed. After three years of close collaboration between the companies GAS Automation GmbH in St. Georgen and Schnaidt GmbH in Ammerbuch Altingen-in devices for the benefit separation technology is beginning to November 2007 official character.
