Torque motor axes are an increasingly popular option in gripper applications for fast and precise assembly automation with linear axes and Cartesian robots.

GAS Automation supplies gearless electrical rotation axes based on torque motors as part of its axis range.

These torque motor axes can be fitted with pneumatic and electrical rotary lead-throughs if required and have free flange-mounting areas for grippers and linear axes. The torque motor axes RD 04, 08 and 12 allow you to insert workpieces in the right rotating position (with a vision system) or insert screws with the correct torque and rotation angle.

The torque motor axis RD offers maximum dynamics combined with outstanding repeat accuracy. These torque motor axes allow you to insert workpieces in the right rotating position (also with a vision system) or insert screws with the correct torque and rotation angle.
